Welcome to Pandu-Cada Dance Film

The film officially premiered during the “Raizes do Choro and Samba” Virtual Event on Saturday May 29, 2021 including musicians footage.

This Dance Film was commissioned to Vanessa A. Isaac by Composer and Musician Ami Molinelli as part of her Individual Arts Grant from the San Francisco Arts Commission Project. This Dance Works was partially made possible by a Rental Subsidy Grant from American Dance and Music, Inc awarded to Vanessa. Thank you all patrons and supporters of the Vanessa Isaac Dance Company

INTRODUCTION TO PANDU-CADA

Pandu-cada is a Contemporary dance work inspired by our connection to Gaia and to the Elemental Earth as well as the seasons of life.

In addition to the Contemporary influence the viewer will notice different Brazilian dance technique and styles such as Afro-Brazilian and Samba.
