Bachianas Brasileiras No. 4
Created as part of Bach and Bachianas, a project conceived and choreographed by Vanessa Agle Isaac.
The project brought together the music of Johann Sebastian Bach and Heitor Villa-Lobos. The work featured here is set to Heitor Villa-Lobos’s Bachianas Brasileiras No. 4, I. Prelúdio, part of his celebrated series of compositions created in homage to Bach.
Commissioned by the Santa Barbara Museum of Art in partnership with the Santa Barbara Symphony.
